UNITE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE:

EMPOWERING LATINX COMMUNITIES, PROTECTING FUTURES.

Everyone, regardless of where we come from, where we live or how much money we make, should have access to clean air and water, protection from extreme heat, access to public lands and a safe environment.

WE WORK TOWARDS A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL ARIZONANS, TOGETHER!

At Chispa Arizona, we build the capacity of Latinx families to influence policymakers and pressure polluters to protect communities’ rights to clean air and water, healthy neighborhoods, and a safe climate for generations to come.

As a program of the League of Conservation Voters, we are working towards a strong and powerful Environmental Justice Movement for clean air, climate action, protection of public lands, the defense of our democracy and community power.

ISSUES

Public Lands

Public lands belong to the people and we must work to preserve and protect them for future generations.

CLean air and energy

Our communities have an inherent and inalienable right to clean air. We are working towards a just transition to clean energy in Arizona.

DEMOCRACY AND COMMUNITY POWER

We can’t have a healthy environment without a healthy democracy and as communities at the forefront of the climate crisis, we must ensure our voices are heard.
