Community Organizer Miriam Garcia was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico.

She grew up climbing mountains and trees there until moving to Arizona at age 12. Miriam has always felt a strong connection to both her Mexican roots and mother nature. She graduated from ASU with a Bachelor’s in Business Sustainability.

Working for environmental justice and helping the community are both very important issues to her. She strives to motivate others to adopt healthy lifestyles that protect our environment.
