Each year, we organize a dedicated camping trip to the Grand Canyon for a group of 50 of our members and their families. For some, it marks their first time camping, while for others, it’s not just their first time camping but first time visiting one of the wonders of the Earth: The Grand Canyon.
In a monumental achievement this year, thanks to the advocacy of our members, Rep. Raúl Grijalva, and tribal coalitions, the Biden administration heeded our calls and designated nearly 1 million acres of the Grand Canyon as the Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni – Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon!
