Nicole Morales

Civic Engagement Director Nicole Morales is an Arizona dreamer - she was first drawn to activism in 2010 when Arizona Senate Bill 1070 ignited a spark in her.

This encouraged her to fight against the misrepresentation, prosecution, and intimidation of the Latino community in Arizona. Nicole has worked on the campaign to defeat Joe Arpaio as Sheriff of Maricopa County, and with several grassroots organizing programs in state.

She worked with Chispa Arizona in 2018 to direct the Phoenix area civic engagement program, contributing in large part to an effort that would eventually register more than 28,000 voters across the state. Working with Chispa AZ has allowed her to continue empowering and educating her community.
